Music, MAYhem, and Motorcycles is exactly as the name suggest. The music is top notch, the mayhem is all in good fun, and the motorcycles is just the icing on the cake! Mark your calendars for May 18th through the 21st and get ready for a weekend of camping, partying, and good times. This over 21 bike rally is close to Tulsa, yet is in the country, with 560 acres of trees, ponds, and nature. It’s just a few minutes west of Sand Springs at Discoveryland.
The event launches Thursday, May 18th with an all-night jam hosted by Kevin Salazar. Friday, 4:00-8:00 pm, ”The Chad Todd Band” will be playing followed by one of Tulsa’s best rock bands, “Hard Truth.” Saturday’s entertainment is amazing as well with “Bull Finger” playing 4:00-8:00 pm followed by “BC and The Big Rig”. If this incredible line up isn’t reason enough to come out, let’s add all of this to the mix; Homemade bikini contest, tons of biker games, free primitive camping, hot clean showers, t shirts, fire pits, a burn-out pit, tattoo contest, and a bike show! Winning categories for the show are “Best Paint”, “Best Custom”, “Best Detail”, “Street Rat”, and “People’s Choice.” Bring your favorite bike out for a little bragging rights! There will be a bike wash available if you want to “shiny it up” before the contest.

Primitive camping is free. There is VIP camping and RV camping for additional fees. Call in advance as these areas are very limited. Grills (in upgraded areas only) and ice chests are welcome, however you cannot bring anything in glass containers. Food vendors and beer sales will be available on site as well. This 4 day, 3-night event is only $20 a person for the entire weekend and if you sign on to you can print a $5 off coupon! T-shirts can be preordered as well. Come hang out with some awesome people while you enjoy a laid-back country weekend. You can even bring your fishing poles and hit the pond for a little dinner.

Just follow I-44 west from Tulsa, exit on 51st and head west on 41st street. Go about 8 miles and it will be on the north side of the road! 19501 W 41st St, Sand Springs.

If you don’t want to camp, there are hotels in Sand Springs available which is less than 10 minutes away. Call 936-552-1056 for event details and specialty camping reservations.

I have always wanted to visit this building. Don’t have a clue why I haven’t done so. I only live 30 miles from it. This is on my 2017 list of things to do. Wanna ride with us to Bartlesville?
